Our patented bioabsorbable stent technology has proven to prevent leaking in a high-risk animal model. We are currently building our next generation of bioabsorbable synthetic stents.

Our Innovative Technology
The stents created at Bandelier Biomedical are designed to be placed at the time of surgery and provide protection in the early postoperative period when the anastomosis is most vulnerable. This internal jacketing is designed to prevent luminal contents from reaching the site of repair, and then degrade into harmless byproducts without the need for removal.
